Elementary students take on Olympic challenge

Congratulations to the students that represented Pottstown at the Montgomery County Reading Olympics competition.Teams from all four of our elementary schools ( Barth, Franklin, Lincoln and Rupert ) traveled to Souderton High School, along with over 30 schools from around the county to take part in the rapid recall of information based on questions from a 25 book reading list. Reading comprehension, teamwork and communication skills are all needed to earn a ribbon in the highly competitive event. Special thanks to our sponsor Diamond Credit Union, who has supported the academic success of our students by providing materials and distinctive team T-shirts for each student. The shirts help build a sense of pride and positive culture. Trojan, proud of the students and their advisors for, giving us another reason to say, proud to be from Pottstown.
